Avani Hotel Mooloolaba

When KPAT Hotels commissioned Formatek to supply and upholster the poolside furniture at AVANI Hotel Mooloolaba, the brief called for outdoor daybeds built for the Sunshine Coast climate: wet swimwear, year-round UV, and afternoon storms. Custom daybeds with wedge backs were manufactured in-house at the Nambour workshop, filled with QDF quick-dry foam that drains water through the structure rather than trapping it, and upholstered in Sunbrella performance fabric for UV and colour stability. The result is a poolside set built for commercial wear: shape, colour and comfort maintained through the full guest cycle.
